What are the benefits of using Love, Mom?
Using a "Mom away from home" concierge program gives you peace of mind in knowing that there is a trusted adult available when your student needs help. You will always have someone nearby to provide recommendations, check in on them when they are sick, deliver a gift basket, decorate their room for their birthday, or provide assistance in an emergency. We know how overwhelming it can be to navigate adult life in a new city and we are here to help.
I would only like to order a gift basket, do I need to have a membership?
Gift basket and care package delivery is available without a membership for a $25 delivery fee, plus the cost of the basket. Basket prices start at $60 and can be customized to your preferences.
Can you accommodate other requests that aren't listed on the services list?
We will try to accommodate any requests- just ask! While we want to provide support for your family, we are not a babysitting, social worker or personal assistant service. Our goal is to help your young adult learn life skills, but with support. We will not do their laundry, clean their rooms or run errands for them. But, we will consider most requests!
My student lives off campus, can you still help?
Yes! We'll deliver to wherever your student is. We'll even take a photo for proof of life! Mom hugs are also available for those who want them!
My kid has food allergies, can the gift baskets be customized?
Yes! All gift baskets are created with your input. When you order, you will fill out a form with preferences and allergies. Each basket is customized and created with love.
If there is an emergency or urgent situation, can you help?
We'll do our best to help provide comfort in an emergency or urgent situation. We want your child to have the support of a trusted adult so you can have peace of mind knowing that they aren't alone. That could include accompanying them in the hospital after an accident, giving them a ride home after a medical procedure, checking on them when they are sick or any other urgent situation. While we are here for support, we are not social workers so emergency response or credentialed authorities should be contacted if you are worried about your child's safety.
Feel free to reach out any time and we'll do everything we can to get one of our Mom concierges there ASAP. Additional fees may apply for emergency services.
